For a beginner who wants their scooter to feel comfortable and look good in holiday photos, the Filano and Fazzio lead. Comfort and confidence often go together, so this matters more than it seems.
I tracked fuel across a week of town errands, and the Honda Click 125 and Yamaha Fazzio proved the most frugal, both helped by efficient engines and modest tanks. For budget-minded travellers on a long Samui stay, those savings add up to extra free days between fills. The Scoopy and Filano are hardly thirsty, but the Click 125 in particular is the value champion of the group. If keeping costs low is your priority, the Click 125 or Fazzio is the smart pick.
After comparing all four, my advice is to match the scooter to your specific worry rather than chase an overall winner. I send the shortest, most nervous riders to the Honda Scoopy for its low seat; riders who want the smoothest, most modern power to the Yamaha Fazzio; those prioritising comfort and style to the Yamaha Filano; and the budget-focused to the Honda Click 125. Every one of them is an easy, forgiving way to start riding on Samui - so choose by what reassures you most.
