TL;DR

The Forza 350 is the best Samui pick for long road tours, two-up days, wet-season comfort and relaxed high-pace cruising; size down for short town-only trips.

When You Plan Long Road Tours

I reach for the Forza 350 whenever the plan is a long sealed-road tour of the island. Cruising the full ring road from Chaweng through Nathon and back, its smooth 330cc engine and comfortable seat make the kilometres melt away. On days built around distance rather than dirt, nothing in the fleet is more relaxing. When your map is a big loop of coastal tarmac with plenty of stops, the Forza 350 is the scooter I choose first.

When You Are Riding Two-Up

Setting off two-up from Lamai, I feel why the Forza 350 wins for couples. Its broad pillion seat, strong torque, and stable chassis carry two adults in comfort up hills and along the coast without strain. A smaller scooter labours under combined weight, but the Forza never feels burdened. Whenever your Samui days mean two people sharing one scooter for real distances, the Forza is the moment the larger maxi-scooter becomes clearly the right call.

When the Wet Season Demands Protection

Caught in a September squall on the bypass, I am grateful for the Forza 350's electric screen and enclosed front. In Samui's wet months, weather protection turns a miserable soaking into a manageable ride - the screen deflects rain from your chest and the bodywork shields your legs. A naked town scooter offers none of that. When you are riding through the rainy season and want to stay drier and more comfortable, the Forza's protection makes it the best choice.

When You Want Effortless Cruising Pace

Holding a relaxed 90 on the southern bypass, I value how unstrained the Forza 350 feels at cruising speed. On days where you want to cover ground calmly and overtake slow traffic safely, its reserve of power and planted stability shine. A 125 sits buzzing at its limit on those stretches; the Forza simply lopes along. When your day favours smooth, confident pace over stop-start town pottering, the Forza 350 is in its element.

When to Pick a Smaller Scooter Instead

Honesty matters: the Forza 350 is not always the answer. For a short hop from a Chaweng hotel to the beach, a Fazzio is lighter, cheaper, and easier to park, and the Forza's touring strengths go unused. If your route involves dirt tracks, the ADV 350 is the better Honda 350. The Forza is the best pick for road touring and two-up comfort - but for town-only errands or off-road days, I send riders elsewhere.

The Timing Verdict

Putting it together, the Forza 350 is the best Samui scooter when your days mean long road tours, two-up riding, wet-season comfort, or effortless cruising pace. The more of those a trip involves, the more decisively the Forza wins. When the plan shrinks to short, dry, solo town hops, I step down to something lighter. Match the scooter to the kind of riding you actually have planned, and the Forza's moment is easy to recognise.
