On wet afternoons when the Lamai beach road turns greasy, I brake earlier and softer on the Aerox and lean on its front ABS as a backup, not a crutch. The painted road markings and drain covers get slick fast in a downpour. I straighten the scooter before braking and avoid the shiny lines entirely. I always have shorter riders test the Aerox's 790 mm seat at a standstill before we discuss traffic at all. Treated with respect, its pace and agility make town riding easy; treated carelessly, they get riders into trouble. Ride it gently and deliberately, and the sporty Aerox behaves impeccably in the busiest island traffic.
