That is reliability: the bicycle performs consistently across repeated use without requiring special handling or mid-ride problem-solving. Across five years of riding the Giant Talon 3 on Koh Samui's ring road, coastal paths, and trail sections, I have not punctured a rear tyre on this model. The Kenda 27.5-inch tyres fitted to the Talon have a sidewall thickness suited to the trail surfaces Samui offers - compacted laterite, gravel, tarmac - without the vulnerability of road-oriented tyres on rougher surfaces. It delivers every time, and that matters more than any single performance specification.
